Catherine A. Smith

While honing her skills during the first eight years of her consulting career, Catherine served as a Senior Communications Consultant with the leading global human resource consulting firm. During her tenure there, she served as Communications Co-Practice leader, leading a team of eight consultants and staff in Michigan, developing and implementing communication strategies for mid and large size companies in a variety of industries.

In response to companies asking for high quality strategic communications without the high prices associated with the "big" consulting firms, Catherine founded Requisite Communications, a lean delivery-oriented organization.

In addition to providing organizational communications consulting to Requisite Communications customers, Catherine served on the Board of Directors for MOCA (Michigan Ontario Compensation Association) as Vice President of Communications for four years.

Additionally, Catherine has been recognized for outstanding achievement by her colleagues: Renaissance Award from the IABC (International Association for Business Communicators); and work that published in notable industry journals.

Catherine's leadership over Requisite Communications maintains sharp focus on the customer: always assembling the right team for each project, consistently on-time and within budget, with quality deliverable that exceed expectations every time.
